Brian has always specialized in storage systems performance. Â He holds a Ph. D. in Mathematics from Florida State University and has more than 35 years of experience in computer system and I/O subsystem performance. Â In addition to storage hardware and software development, Brian spent a few years working on CPU hardware performance. Â He has held both management and technical positions.
Brian has extensive experience in the fields of I/O subsystem benchmarking, computer performance evaluation, capacity planning, and competitive analysis of both computer systems hardware and software. Recent roles focus on optimization of storage hardware and software. Brian teaches technical education sessions in the use of CRM software for monitoring storage performance and capacity planning.
